The 9th International Conference on
Industrial and Business Engineering
After the successful conclusion of the 9th International
Conference on Industrial and Business Engineering (ICIBE
2023), held at North China University of Technology in
Beijing, China from September 22 to 24, 2023, we take a
moment to reflect on the history of ICIBE 2023.
During the conference, Prof. Jianwen Wang, Vice-Chancellor
of North China University of Technology, China, delivered an
inspiring opening address, while Prof. Guihuang Jiang,
Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management,
welcomed the participants. The conference morning session is
hosted Assoc. Prof. Xinyu Wang.
ICIBE 2023 marked the ninth edition of our
conference, continuing the tradition of bringing
together leading experts, scholars, researchers, and
professionals from various corners of the world. The
conference featured four keynote speeches from
esteemed experts in the field, including:
Prof. Xiaoying Dong, Peking University, China
Prof. Xu Chen, University of Electronic Science and
Technology of China, China
Assoc. Prof. Bogdan Wierzbinski, Marek
Cierpial-Wolan, Uniwersytet Rzeszowski, Poland
Additionally, the event included two invited
speeches from distinguished professionals:
Assoc. Prof. Assadej Vanichchinchai, Mahidol
University, Thailand
Assoc. Prof. Guangying Jin, Dalian Maritime
University, China
ICIBE 2023 comprised six
technical sessions and three online sessions,
offering ample opportunities for the attendees to
engage with the speakers and with each other. Each
parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best
Presentation” award was issued at the end of the
sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
Over 160 teachers and students actively participated
in this conference, making it a truly collaborative
and enriching experience.
